Swedish graphic designer Minna Sakaria held a workshop on typography and critical playfulness for the MA1 students.

• Typography is seen both as pictures and words. Keeping this in mind, the task for the students was to design typographic posters with statements about design or the society in general. Historically, typography has been a profession guided by very rigid rules. In opposition to this, the students were to use playfulness as a method when designing their typefaces.
