Pangstart 2023: STORE ORD
Pangstart is the officially best way to start off a new academic term, the highlight of the year already in the first week of the new semester! Students across all Bachelor and Master classes are presented with a seemingly impossible task that should be executed within only two days.
This year's topic was STORE ORD (BIG WORDS), literally and metaphorically. 9 groups were assigned one public space in the centre of Oslo each, in order to stage a “typographic" intervention of more or less poetic, more or less political, more or less nonsensical nature.
Two days of thinking, cutting, painting and arranging letters culminated in the (most probably) biggest and shortest lasting exhibition of site-specific language art (uhh!) yet in Oslo. BOOYAH!
