Graphic design and illustration
at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts

Kick-start: Fellesverkstedet

During the May riots in Paris in 1968 a group of students occupied the print shop at their art school and produced posters with political messages. The group took the name Atelier Populaire. The posters were silkscreen prints and none were signed. What happens if we recreate these circumstances today, in a different political and social climate? This is what we decided to find out, working intensely over two days.

  • The project was done in the autumn of 2013 at the Fellesverksted, Oslo, with all the students from Graphic design and illustration.
