Pangstart 2021
Graphic design and illustration at the Oslo Academy of the Arts has since 2013 marked the start of the new academic year with a collaborative project. For a day and a half, all GI students have been working together to realize an impossible project.
On the occasion of this year's parliamentary elections, we repeated the very first Pangstart which was held at Fellesverkstedet in 2013, inspired by the Paris Uprising in 1968, when a group of students locked themselves inside the art academy to print protest posters. What has happened in the eight years that has passed? Since 2013 we've new students and Fellesverkstedet has become our neighbors in new and fantastic premises. The record was broken with 54 unique posters in 1,5 days, and the results consistently testify that our students are generous and for sharing equally both locally and globally.
The achievement was celebrated with a vernissage and a party.
